It is committed to inspiring young people to learn science (S), technology (T), engineering (E), art (A) and mathematics (M) and to apply that knowledge in solving world problems real. For more information, refer to: https://www.makex.cc/en MakeX Spark is an innovation contest program for 6-13 year olds. The contest includes online and on-site contest formats. Competitors are encouraged to use a variety of materials to design and build their projects. Through project-based learning, contestants increase their imagination and creativity, and in combination with critical thinking and real-world problem research, contestants are improving their interdisciplinary problem-solving skills. Furthermore, the competitor's skills in expression, collaboration and cooperation can be improved through the demonstration of the project. The theme of MakeX Spark 2022 is "Infinite Life" The United Nations General Assembly designated April 22 as International Mother Earth Day through a resolution adopted in 2009. In pursuit of harmony between humans and nature, International Mother Earth Day is designed to further promote the sustainable development of humans and nature by formulating standards for sustainable development and exchanging experiences of countries that meet the standards. With the development of science and technology, as well as innovation, humans will empower the earth with increasing vitality.

Test robotic solutions in a real environment The Robotics Fitness Challenge takes SPRINT Robotics demo days to a new level by putting robots to the test in a real-world environment. Led by the Action Group Remote Operators (AGRO), the two-day event allows associated attendees to showcase their technologies. Where possible and useful, each robot registered in the Robotics Fitness Challenge will follow a predefined list of use cases and activities. These use cases and tasks are defined by the Robotic Fitness Challenge Steering Committee and must be performed on real assets or built test objects. Why participate? The Robotics Fitness Challenge brings together the value chain in a realistic and challenging environment to: Enable resource operators to view the latest robotic solutions Allow robot developers and service providers to test and showcase their robots in a realistic environment Arrange an opportunity for asset operator feedback to developers and service providers Bring together end users and developers Enable service providers to identify potential gaps Enable solution developers to identify new use cases for proven technology Support future development

MATE currently has 41 regional in the United States and around the world. Find the one closest to you! Each year, the MATE ROV contest challenges students to build an ROV to tackle real-world-based tasks. From simulating missions to explore Jupiter's moon Europa to diving on hydrothermal vents and determining identification on an unknown shipwreck, the MATE ROV competition allows college and university students to elementary students to build an ROV with a specific goal in mind. Students are asked to think of themselves as entrepreneurs, forming a company to build and operate an ROV to meet the needs of the marine science and technology community. Not only does the ROV have to complete assigned diving tasks, but students have to give an oral presentation to industry professionals, create written technical documentation on their ROV, and create a marketing display showing their vehicle. The competition is divided into different competition classes based on the level of complexity required to build the vehicle. EXPLORER class: Universities, colleges and high schools that have previously participated in the MATE ROV competition. EXPLORER-class teams must create a complex vehicle and have a deep understanding of electronics, electricity, sensors, waterproofing containers and other technologies. PIONEER class: Technical and community colleges for the first time, as well as four-year universities for the first time. PIONEER-class teams must create a complex vehicle and have a deep understanding of electronics, electricity, waterproofing containers and other technologies. RANGER class: High school, middle school with robotics experience, RANGER class teams should have a good knowledge of robotic systems and electricity. Some knowledge of electronics, sensors, and waterproofing is helpful. If you are experienced in terrestrial robotics competitions, starting in the RANGER class might be an option. NAVIGATOR class: Middle schools with robotics experience, high schools new to robotics and advanced elementary schools with robotics experience. Some understanding of robotic systems and electricity is helpful. If you have limited experience with terrestrial robotics competitions or have robotics experience but no competition experience, NAVIGATOR is a great place to start. SCOUT Class: Elementary Schools, Middle Schools and Initial High Schools. If you are new to robotics or have limited experience in robotics, this is the place to start. The instructions, tutorials and lesson plans will teach you all the basic information you will need. The basic ROV kits will provide you with all the materials you need to build a vehicle. Groups interested in participating in the MATE Center competition should contact their regional coordinator (Click here for our regional map and contact information). Regional coordinators can provide groups with additional information and additional local resources. Competition: MATE ROV contest score The overall theme of the competition changes every year. Product demonstration activities are released in the fall as part of the competition manuals, but many teams start building their control system earlier (the vehicle will always have to move through the water). Additional information, including scoring cards and rubrics, information on regional contests, and videos, is released in the winter and early spring. A company data sheet is also required at the World Championship. Another optional component offered in some regional and World Championships is corporate responsibility. The competition consists of a product demonstration and three engineering and communication components: a product presentation, technical documentation and a marketing visualization. The product demonstration is the vehicle that completes the mission activities on the water. Teams are rated based on what they are able to complete and a time bonus if they can complete all tasks. The product presentation is an oral presentation given by student team members to a group of working professionals, followed by a question and answer period. Technical documentation is a written report detailing the vehicle's design and operating characteristics. The Marketing Display is a poster that showcases the characteristics of the vehicle. The company data sheet is a short one-page description of the team (company) and the ROV. Corporate responsibility is a way for teams to "give back" and positively impact their peers, the community and the environment.
