Expo 2020 (officially Expo 2020 Dubai, United Arab Emirates; in Arabic: إكسبو 2020 دبي ، الإمارات العربية المتحدة) is the universal exhibition that was supposed to take place, according to the original program, in Dubai between 1 October 2020 and 31 March 2021 with an estimated flow of 25 million visitors. Due to the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic the event has been postponed for one year and will be held between 1 October 2021 and 31 March 2022. The theme planned for the Exhibition is Connecting Minds, Creating the Future minds, create the future), closely related to the Arabic name of the city, al-Waṣl (Arabic ﺍﻟﻮﺻﻞ), which means "the connection". The Exposition will fall on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the United Arab Emirates, the Golden Jubilee of the state .
