2026 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (IEEE ICRA 2026), 1-5 June 2026, Vienna, Austria will host a global conference on robotics and automation.
It returns to Europe after recent years in the USA and Japan.
ICRA 2026 ‘Robots for All’, organised by the IEEE Robotics & Automation Society, is the leading international forum for researchers in the field of robotics to present and discuss their work. Founded in 1984 and held annually, the conference brings together experts in the field of robotics and automation for technical communication through presentations and discussions.
The theme ‘Robots for All’, reflects the organisers' desire to engage the Viennese public and demonstrate the potential everyday benefits of robotics. The community programme will include cooperation with ARS Electronica, a ‘Long Day of the Robots’ exhibition open to the public and the finals of a school competition to create the best dancing robot.
