It is RobotHeart, the name chosen for the new and innovative exhibition project dedicated to the world of robotics and hosted by 33.BI-MU, the international biennial of machine tools, on stage at fieramilano Rho from 12 to 15 October 2022.
Focused on industrial robotics, automation, related technologies, components, systems and artificial intelligence, the new exhibition area of BI-MU will have as protagonists: manufacturers, integrators, universities, and representatives of the academic and research world, spin-offs and start-up, to figure out the many facets of a sector that is today decisive for the competitiveness of the industrial system.
Sponsored by SIRI, the Italian association of robotics and automation, RobotHeart is not "only" an exhibition area for the meeting between supply and demand in the sector, but also proposes itself as a laboratory of ideas, a place for the production of culture and knowledge. reference for those operating in the sector.
The choice of the name RobotHeart and the slogan, The art of smart robotics - with which all communication will be identified - underlines the organizers' intention to highlight the three central aspects of this new initiative: robot, heart, The art.
The first aspect relates to the proposal on display. The robot - understood in the broadest sense of the term, that is to say in all its forms and in all its multiple applications and integrations - will be the heart of this new exhibition area that caters to all manufacturing sectors: from machine tools to various mechanics, from electronics to automotive, from food and beverage to pharmaceuticals, from logistics to packaging, from biomedical to cosmetics; sectors that will all be widely represented in the ranks of BI-MU visitors.
The second aspect, on the other hand, concerns the sense that animates the development of robotics, which is decisive for improving the quality of human life in all its areas and therefore also in the workplace. All the solutions and technologies on display are designed to facilitate man's work, free him from the most repetitive and tiring tasks and allow him to carry out activities with higher added value. The robot is a tool at the service of man who remains "central" to the production process because he designs, programs and uses the robot as needed. For this reason, in the name that identifies the area, the word Heart is approached to the word Robot, which best represents man.
The third reference is instead made explicit by the slogan that accompanies all communication in the area: RobotHeart, The art of smart robotics. Robotics is an articulated and complex discipline and thus its applications with respect to the needs of the user, for this reason the production of this sector can be considered as a real art: "the art of smart robotics" result of synergy winning between robotic technology and artificial intelligence.
