(MTDM900IB) DISASSEMBLY / REASSEMBLY OF THE M-900IB / 360 ROBOT; This hands-on course provides the instructions and step-by-step procedures necessary for the complete disassembly, inspection and reassembly of a mechanical unit of the FANUC robot.Course Objectives: Students who successfully complete this course will be able to:
-Diagnose the mechanical problems of the robot at the component level
-Replace all mechanical components on the robot
- Make adjustments on the robot
- Perform periodic maintenance on the mechanical unit
Safety best practices are integrated into all training exercises. The course consists of lectures, demonstrations and a series of laboratory exercises designed to reinforce what the student has learned. In addition to laboratory exercises, a pre-test and a post-test are used to measure mastery of objectives.
Audience: This course is recommended for mechanical maintenance technicians or other persons responsible for troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance.
Prerequisites: Previous experience or training in a related field involving mechanical disassembly, repair and assembly of robots or machine tools.
Each student will be required to recognize and sign our Laboratory Rigging Safety Policy, to recognize the safety requirements for each mechanical disassembly / reassembly class. Anyone unwilling to sign this policy will not be allowed to participate in any lab or practical exercise.
