Over the years, BIE has progressively strengthened its vocation for 4.0 with the aim of informing entrepreneurs about 4.0 and explaining all the real benefits to them.
In 2020 their desire to shed light and clarify what 4.0 can guarantee to companies emerged again, even if the focus has been shifted from the current communication to the real advantages: it is not just a question of exploiting Hyper Amortization in purchase of machinery, difficult to integrate into production without exploiting its potential; it is not a simple reading and data acquisition; it is not just making machines work in your own network, an issue that we have been practicing in our companies for several years.
4.0 looks at the possibility of certifying works and environments in order to: not consume resources, increase safety and its fringes, improve the management and prevention of waste, verify the production cycle of construction and do predictive maintenance. Furthermore, with an eye to predictive maintenance, at the BIE we will organize the 4.0 area, which is a very interesting topic according to the same entrepreneurs who are already within the enabling technologies of 4.0.
