The 2022 International Workshop on Service Robotics (IWoSR 2022) is organized by the Hong Kong Society of Robotics and Automation (HKSRA) and will be held in Chengdu, China from 10-12 June 2022.
Robotic technology has found more and more applications in our daily life.
Service robots can significantly improve the quality of our life in several ways by providing greater safety, efficiency and productivity using robotic technology.
Service robots cover a range of robots such as field robots, construction robots, agricultural robots, cleaning robots, logistics robots, medical robots, and humanoid robots.
By 2022, the market for professional services robots is expected to reach US $ 37 billion.
However, there are still many significant challenges involved in the research and development of service robots.
In order to foster research and development of service robotics technologies, the 2022 International Workshop on Service Robotics is organized to bring together robotics researchers and engineers from around the world to exchange their views on the theoretical and application challenges of robots of service.
A primary objective of the Conference is to facilitate the development of service robots using multidisciplinary approaches and the transfer of results and knowledge in a collaborative and open-minded environment.
For this reason, policy makers, stakeholders and experts from other disciplines are also encouraged to participate and bring motivation and challenges for new scientific advances in the area of service robotics.
IWoSR 2022 will be held in the beautiful city of Chengdu, China.
During the three days, the Conference will include plenary lectures, keynote lectures, oral presentations and poster presentations.
