Combination of unmanned aerial vehicles and ground-based robotics
Multiple skill sets needed to optimize design solutions for robotics, actuation, mechanisms, coding and autonomy to achieve the mission
Mobility on demand to simulate moving payload, people and packages
Teams will engage in design, 3D printing / fabrication, electronics, self-coding, systems integration, kinematics, piloting, project management and critical thinking
Teamwork will include drone piloting and driver control of multiple ground-based robots which will require 8 to 10 students to participate and coordinate in a given competition round.
Competition events include:
Integration of autonomous ground and flight operations
Piloting with drones and controlling the driver of several robots on the ground
Team logistics and critical thinking for the search and rescue mission
Team presentations

Each team registration is $ 4,000 raised through RobotEvents.com.
This all-inclusive entry fee provides teams with a complete aerial and ground robotics kit, educational resources for teachers / mentors, and registration for the competition event.
