In this Guided Project, you will need to:

Code a particulate filter from scratch in Python and use it to solve the robot location problem.

In this one-hour project-based course, you will tackle a real problem in robotics

We will simulate a robot capable of moving in an unknown environment and make it discover its position using only a terrain map and an elevation sensor

We will encounter some of the classic challenges that make robotics difficult: noisy sensor data and inaccurate movements

We will address these challenges with an artificial intelligence technique called a particle filter

By the end of this project, you will have coded a particulate filter from scratch using Python and numpy

Note: This course works best for students residing in the North America region

We are currently working on providing the same experience in other regions.

By purchasing a guided project, you'll get everything you need to complete the guided project, including access to a cloud desktop workspace via your web browser that contains the files and software you need to get started, plus video instructions detailed by a subject matter expert.
